Vera Wang is well known for her beautifully designed bridal gowns. She established herself as a fashion designer who had a significant fashion force in her very early years of entering the industry. Born in the heart of New York City on the 27th of June 1949, Vera Wang earned her bachelors degree in Liberal Arts.

Even though she dreamed of becoming a figure skater in her childhood, Vera Wang was destined to become a fashion designer with a bright future ahead. She was an editor at Vogue for more than seventeen years after which she became a design director for Ralph Lauren that inspired her to open her own boutique at Madison Avenue in 1990.
