I am thinking about trying to get into law school, but I am not sure if I should first work as a paralegal to gain some experience. I have heard that working as a paralegal will not help you actually get in to a school of your choice, but I was told that when you graduate from law school it is better to have some experience in the field before applying for jobs. I know that I want to be a lawyer, and it seems a waste of time to get aba approved paralegal programs, but I want to have every advantage when it comes time to actually apply for a job when I graduate.
